Terms of Service

Please review these terms carefully — they govern the services we provide and your use of this website.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Scope of Services

MJG Solutions ("MJG", "we", "us") provides private underground utility locating, ground penetrating radar (GPR) scanning, electromagnetic locating, site marking, pre-construction subsurface investigation, and related reporting and mapping deliverables (collectively, the "Services").

2. Not a Substitute for 811 / One-Call Locates

MJG Solutions is a PRIVATE locating service. Our Services do not replace state-mandated 811 / one-call notifications, which are required by law before any excavation, boring, trenching, or other subsurface work. The client is solely responsible for contacting 811 and obtaining any required public utility locates in addition to engaging MJG. MJG assumes no responsibility for damages, delays, or penalties arising from the client's failure to obtain 811 / one-call locates.

3. Limitations of Subsurface Investigation

Underground utility locating is an interpretive process and is inherently subject to limitations of equipment, site conditions, soil composition, depth, utility material, prior site work, and the accuracy of existing records. MJG uses professional-grade equipment and accepted industry methods, but cannot guarantee detection of every subsurface feature, particularly non-conductive, abandoned, deeply buried, or undocumented utilities. Field markings represent the best professional interpretation at the time of the scan and should be treated as a reference for safe excavation, not as an absolute representation of underground conditions.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing safe and unobstructed site access, identifying known hazards, contacting 811 and other public utility services, employing soft-dig / vacuum-excavation verification where appropriate, and supervising all subsequent excavation work in accordance with OSHA, state, and local requirements.

5. Deliverables & Turnaround

Deliverables (surface markings, written reports, sketches, PDFs, KMZ files) are scoped on a project-by-project basis and described in the project quote or scope of work. Turnaround depends on site size, scope, weather, and field conditions.

6. Payment

Payment terms are set forth in the applicable quote or invoice. Past-due balances may incur interest at the maximum rate permitted by Florida law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MJG's total liability for any claim arising out of the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. MJG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Website Use
